Okay you dumb genius, explain how an OC can be a good coordinator if he isn't a good play caller. Go ahead, put up or STFU!

C'mon man, you used that as a direct counter argument to my post. You've been propping up Ensminger and this offense. I even agreed with you about the potential. You just got upset when I questioned some of your statements.

As I said, you are in the wrong place if you can't handle a simple discussion about football without resulting to name calling.

I never said that. This is about the 4th time I've said this.

Being a good play caller doesn't make you a good coordinator. You keep turning it around.

For example, Ensminger did a good job calling the plays of someone else's offense. Does that make him a good coordinator? He wasn't the one that designed and implemented it and he hasn't done that for a long time.

It's really that simple and you're making it very difficult. I even agree that a good OC has to be a good play caller and said that already.

Wait.. what?
A good coordinator will always have a good job. Might have to move once in awhile but I gaurantee you Ensminger wasn't turning down OC positions left and right because of "volatility."

If he turned the position down it's because he felt he wasn't qualified.

Either way... I don't have much faith in a TE coach joining forces with a defensive line coach and inventing the next prolific offensive scheme.

After about the fourth drive on Miami well realize the spread is more of a cluster.

I am honestly more excited about this season than any in recent memory.

We have two QB's we believe tl have true NFL talent along with a strong Offensive Line and very capable talent out wide with depth.

I am going to be one to go out on a limb and say that I believe our offense is going to be dynamic and lethal as frick next season.

We lose 2 or next season--Bama and Auburn. Possibly Georgia at home, but doubt it.

I have faith.

there is no way we actually run the spread offense this year.

So you’ve known for years he hasn’t been an OC.

And somehow I dont Think coaching HS Football in Alabama is just a better option for the guy if he has the option of being a college OC.

So you are saying he can't, then prove it. Like I said, I don't care what anyone of you haters thinks and believe about O and SE. You guys are all just filled with hate.

There hasn't been any posts where a poster even says they don't like O and Ensminger. Why are you saying that everyone hates O and Ensminger when 99% of the posters here haven't even met either one of them (myself included).

quote:

Anyway, like I said I couldn't care less what you ignorant O haters think or believe. You morons are all filled with hate anyway and all you loons care about is getting rid of O. That's it. Nothing else.

We care about the well being of the actual LSU football program. We don't have any personal feelings towards O and Ensminger like you do.

When I tell you that Ed Orgeron is a bad head football coach it's not code for "I hate his guts". It just means that he's not a good head coach and O himself has proved it many many times over.

quote:

Indeed, he could go 12 & 0, win the SEC and win the NC and you guys would still be saying, O isn't qualified to be the head coach. There is nothing O can do to change you ignoramuses minds. Nothing whatsoever.

I can't believe you actually typed this and what's blowing my mind right now is I'm realizing that you truly feel this way.

quote:

Why should anyone trust your stupidity to sit behind a keyboard every day all day long and cry about O like you do every damn day all day long? Don't you have anything else to do, like a damn job or something? Go fly a kite you dumb ignoramus.

If you're near a mirror, then I suggest you take a long look in it.

Why would anyone trust your stupidity when all you do all day is use a keyboard to personally attack posters and insult everyone who posts facts about Orgeron.

Lol.

“We’re going to be very multiple.”

What the hell does that even mean?

You have a HC tossing around meaningless cliches.

Scary.

All of this. That's what the poster you're responding to doesn't get even though it's been explained to him over and over again. He chooses to discard or simply disregard it and go on with his little schtick. Don't pay attention to him.

Exactly. He contradicts himself all the time. "I couldn't care less what you think" yet he'll go on for pages because "he couldn't care less what that someone thinks."

Don't waste your time on him.

stupid is thinking that for 29 of his 32 year career O was turning down promotions to DC.no one thoughtenough of his coaching to offer him a coordinator's job.just like for 9 years after ole miss no one offered him anything but a position coach offer.

“We’re gonna be multiple!”

“We puttin’ In a spread!”

“We gonna be able to bang it too!”

Hell, we are going to do EVERYTHING!!

Lol

If this doesn’t say “clueless HC saying what he thinks people want to hear,” then I don’t know what does.

I think the QB is the lynchpin for an offense of this type. I don't for sure know, but I think we have a good one in Brennan and the next 2 years will have an exciting passing game and competent offense. One that uses backs like helaire on short and frequent passes. I have to see it to believe it though. I ask myself if we would be installing this offense if we didn't have Brennan. In other words they see something in him and want to accentuate his strengths. Narcisse might have a package for read option and QB rushes. And it could be used frequently because you don't have a fournette, hill, guice in the backfield. Overall I hope the net gain is positive.

Overused term that means nothing in college football today. We've run spread concepts the last couple years.

bullshite. Running the spread, and using a few concepts from the spread, are two completely different things.

A spread offense is nothing like what you see in a typical LSU game.

Best offense ever.

I'm surprised no one else thought to just do everything well instead of just a couple of concepts. Orgeron is really blazing a path here.
