Clearly the ncaa didn't really respect how LSU finished the season. basically had them as only like the 28th best team. Should have been a two in like the 14th or 15th seeded team.

As has been said before they don't place the 2 seeds that way in baseball. There is no S-curve

And then potentially play A&M or Kentucky in super regional, no thanks.

DBU's joint only holds 3500 and our RPI's would be really close. I can't see them hosting over us. We would make it rain if we had a chance to host. $$$

I’m planning to go Saturday and/or Sunday if tickets aren’t too expensive. Was hoping LSU would go to Raleigh instead, but I’ll make the drive out to Chapel Hill, I suppose.

Wasn't UNC the team that bounced us from the CWS in Mainieri's second year when we went on that 23 game win streak?

Yep

I remember one of the games we played against them had a rain delay and UNC had runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs. Next day play resumed and I believe first pitch was a grounder that LSU turned a triple play. I thought after that destiny was going to have us pull it off but UNC was just better that year.

Chapel Hill and Raleigh are right next to each other. What is the difference?

Raleigh is a bigger city. NCSU is located in west Raleigh not far from downtown. Chapel Hill is much more of a college town than Raleigh.

Wofford can score a ton of runs. This is not a walk in the park. Also, Spartanburg is only 3 hours from Chapel Hill so they will travel all 25 of their fans.

I realize that, I am typing this from my mother in law’s house 15 miles from Raleigh. You can literally take an Uber from Chapel Hill to Raleigh if you just want go to Raleigh..or stop over in Durham for that matter. The Chapel Hill draw seems better for us, especially the potential Super match up. I think it will be DBU.

God, I just love baseball’s post-season play.
It’s a brand new season, but it’s one where the rubber hits the road and the s#*t hits the fan!!
