Tigers haven't weared purple since the Baylor game, 12/31/24. It's a change of pace, but if it's the white/purple/white uniform, it'll have no effect on the game's outcome.

I wish they would stop the stupid Gold game. It never works out because it is so hard to find Gold merch if you don't want to wear a T-shirt. Hell, Nike has more black and anthracite Coaches polos then gold ones.
If they want fan participation then make it either a Purple game or a White game.

We did not. I think we went traditional G-W-G unis for every game last year, including the Texas Bowl. I know we were G-W-G vs La Tech and W Kentucky

Didn't seem right to me either but that's accurate. We only wear them for OOC non home openers. So last year thar was Southeastern, we wore white on white and Western Kentucky was the traditional white on gold. So no purple last year.
