LSU 'In Contact' with Kirby Smart for DC position

Per the Advocate, the Tigers have contacted Alabama DC Kirby Smart. Also Chicago Bears DC Mel Tucker.

No way he leaves Alabama for the same job here. Don't get me wrong, I would be ecstatic but I just don't see it happening. Just like I didn't see Chavis leaving LSU for AtM

Good coach but is he better than Brick. Smart has had his own struggles against spread type offenses. Just need to close the deal on someone this week.
