Enjoy tailgating and that atmosphere but I am there for football. Love that feeling when I first sit down and know I am in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night!!! Nothing better.

I'm there for the game the most, but tailgating is a passion of mine.

I've been to several games where I just went to the game without tailgating. I never went tailgating without having a ticket to the game afterwards. When it comes down to it, it's all about the game and hoping the Tigers win, but having a fun tailgate party leading up to the game is icing on the cake.

Its all about the game, tailgaiting is nice but to me, it is just something to do before going into the game

It's all about the game, but sometimes I prefer to watch the game on tv.

Football. I get to campus two hours or so before the game and usually head straight to watch the band come down the hill and then into the stadium. I am sick of the drunks throwing up on everyone and acting like asses to opposing fans and those seated around them. I'm not mad though.

Agreed. Not the point of the thread at all, just was curious.

Game. Tailgating is very secondary with us.

Is this for every game? Because I would vote "there just to watch the game" in almost all of the games this year, but I wouldn't mind doing the tailgate thing for smaller games.

Tailgating. Once that stopped it was boring. I started staying home and watching the games on the tube. Gave Doug Gulley in BR my seasons tickets since his wife is my daughter. I can go to a game when I want by just calling Doug.

I love LSU Football as much as anyone, but if I really wanted to watch the game, I wouldn't go at all. You can see so much more on TV. The experience on the other hand is what people pay out of the arse for. I love the tailgating, especially the way it represents the school. I love to be in the stadium but if it came down to it, I would save the money on the ticket and watch the game on tv at the tailgate.

Who is Doug Gulley, other than you daughter's husband, and why have you named him specifically?

LSU home games - are you there for the football or the party? (Vote Now)

Scenario: You can either attend a tailgate party all day and night without entering the game, or you can show up at game time and get in the stadium. Which is it?

for me --> Im there for the football and not real concerned about the tailgate (especially early in the season at 98 degrees).

As long as my arse in in the seat before TGBFTL lines up behind the SEZ, I'm good......

More about football, but we do enjoy the tailgating. For the majority I thinks it's like this..

Very young (3-16): it's just about being at te game, nor necessarily football.

Adolescence-young adults: it's about the social event, getting wasted

Middle aged: more about football, but cooking and eating good food at te tailgate is also important

Older: have the most money so they get the the game at or after kickoff and leave middle of the 4th quarter to beat traffic
