And 12 of those are USC's from the 1940's and 50's...

So subtract those and what do you get?

14 NCAA Titles without. Which is still more than the SEC's 9 (6 from LSU)

So I think we need to respect the Pac-12 a bit more in baseball. jfs

George Horton is taking this program to great places so far.

George is the man, don't pay any attention to the Pac-12 baseball haters, they're too young to remember the days before Ron Polk (not Bertman) put the SEC on the relevance map.

Tied at 8 with NC St (which is a shame because they came back from down one run in the bottom of the ninth to win yesterday). #7 is A&M.

Big question is if Coppin St. will get into tourney with that impressive 1-53 record.

Those MEAC schools are just ripping up the loss column this year. I figured some teams could win more games on accident...

You realize the sec regular season champion has been a top8 since 1990?

the big question on the table is if prairie view is our 4 seed do we think about pitching mccune or broussard. i know he wont, but it's at least something to discuss.

this would probably a great spot to give him a start. Although we may end up having to start him if we make it to this weekend.

FSU seems to do the same thing every year. They have a great season with a handful of losses, go to Omaha and leave empty handed. For as long as I've followed college baseball (since the late 80's), that's all I've ever known them to be.

Can't wait for the official regional pitching discussion thread, but I think it'll be:

Friday: Eades
Saturday: Gausman
Sunday: Nola

If we trip up somewhere it'll be McCune then Broussard. Broussard looked decent yesterday, he's starting to grow on me. We can't start one of these 2 next Friday BC we gotta make sure our top 3 get work.

ETA: if Nola doesn't get another start this wknd you may see him Friday instead of Eades.

Boyd's world concerns me a little. If we finish with an RPI of say 9, what does that do to our top 8 seed? bbap?

Warren Nolan is all over the place, I don't know how much stock I would put in it. Also I think y'all win today which would give you a lock for a national seed. Hope USUe looses today and A&M picks up the 8th seed.

In my personal opinion we have a top 8 seed locked up despite todays outcome. but that's just one mans opinion. I also, like many others, thought we were in the tournament last year so shows you how much i know.
