LSU has won more NCs since 2000 than UGA or AU in their entire program histories.

Apropos of nothing. I just like reflecting on this delightful fact.
Of course, I'm talking about actual AP/Coaches/BCS/Playoff national championships, not homemade ribbons awarded by the Birmingham Temperance League Women's Auxiliary.

How many of Bama’s NC titles are legit? I know they claim about 20.

There's only one other team even close to the discussion of No. 2 historically football-wise in the SEC right now. And most of what Tenn is clinging to occurred in the 40s and 50s.
You can still make an argument for them, but I'd say at this point LSU may have an edge. Our success in the modern era > than their first half of the 20th century success. Our '58 team = their lone NC in the modern era.

LSU has won 5 SEC titles since Tennessee won their last in 1998, yet LSU still trails them 13-12 in SEC championships.
Shows you how dominant Tennessee was at one point compared to everyone not named Bama.
Georgia also has 13, but their overall resume doesn't come close to LSU's. Mainly due to lack of NCs.

Pretty sure Bama claimed that one this year

Tenn claims 6, but at least a couple are COMPLETELY bogus, like the 1967 Litkenhous for instance.

Why not? Odd trigger.

Bc you still get the odd UGA or AU (ok not so much anymore) who claims to have the superior program bc of SoS, Freemasons, or dust in the atmosphere etc

I still like to troll Ole Miss' three titles. None of which are AP or coaches.
While they were undefeated once, finished 10-0-1 for another and were 10-1 for the other, neither the coaches or AP awarded them the #1 ranking for all three.
I could understand claiming the undefeated one just to say you have one, which is more than Miss. St., but claiming three like that...

Georgia fans are getting restless. Smart's top recruiting classes have not delivered a NC.
Dawgs are sandwiched between Clemson and Alabama geographically and are VERY jealous of those two programs. Metro ATL is full of Clemson and Bama grads who like to keep the dawg fans humble.
Poor ole UGA.

I mean we won one single title outside of that time frame so don’t get too excited.

Since 2000, there is only one school with more NCs than LSU....Alabama with 5

well we only have one before 2000, so essentially you are saying we have more NC's than Auburn and UGA, great. We have more than most programs.
