Details on “he royally screwed the pooch by coming down so hard on McGlothern and running him off“?

But with an unproven starting QB now.

Exactly. Neither you nor I know how good he’ll be. He could end up being a top 3 QB in the SEC. You can’t assume how good he will or won’t be when you haven’t even seen him play.

ESPECIALLY if Denver Harris has his head screwed on straight. The depth is there thanks to the portal.

Zy Alexander is the one who looked the best. Harris seems to be behind the 8-Ball right now. I'm curious to see how it plays out but I will say this, the Cornerback room WILL NOT be the strength of the team this year. They might be good but the defensive line/front 4 is going to be the strength of the team.

DM was late for meetings/practice and stuff, nothing too heinous. I get that CBK had to reinstate a sense of discipline since O had let things get way too loose, but in this particular case it seems like he went a bit far.

Confident in Smith, Brooks, Perkins, Wingo and that's about it. All other positions are reliant on an inexperienced player or transfer.

Gotta disagree. That only fits in at the cornerback position. Don’t forget along side Perkins is Greg Penn, West weeks, and Omar Speights who has a ton of experience. Safeties with Brooks are Major Burns, Sage Ryan (who I know nobody’s sold on yet), and Andre Sam (transfer with a ton of experience and coaches really like).

The talent and experience is there.

Aggie may have a better team coming back.

I'm going to disagree there. Going off the SEC Sportswriters Pre-season All-SEC list. A&M only has 5 players on that list with zero 1st Team Offense or Defense. LSU has 11 total and 6 1st Team All-SEC (3 Off, 3 Def).

Their line is also suspect. They return a lot of experience, but it's from an offensive line that was one of the worst in the SEC last year.

Yes, I know Achane ran all over LSU last year, but you can't project next season based on 1 game from a season ago.

I think the "most complete team" rankings are:

1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. LSU
4. Tennessee

I can’t imagine how much it must suck to be an Aggie fan.

They beat LSU last year in a game where LSU had no business losing. Not sure what this means.

If our DBs can perform and we can run the ball we have a chance to be special-CBK on Josh Pate show

I’m not 100% sold on our Cornerback room just yet. That my biggest question mark on this team and Week 1 vs FSU will tell the story.

Alexander and chestnut is a great start.

I think they will be similar to jbc and garner. Denver Harris is a baller. Those will probably be your top 3 guys. Welch should be right there.

Not sure what this means? That’s why you are still in the PAC 4.
