According to On3, the gold standard for recruiting, LSU has the #1 Ranked Recruiting Class in the country.

I think the majority of people will be happy to see a #1 class. It’s not sky screaming to criticize Kelly for taking 3 years to recognize a staff that can recruit should be a priority in the SEC. I didn’t downvote but you’re asking for it with a straw man thread like this.

I doubt it ends as #1 due to flips, but it's impressive.
That being said, I'm not sure how much recruiting classes matter anymore because of the portal and just how many people transfer.

Hard to fathom how people are still following recruiting in today’s landscape with NIL and transfer portal and signing day in December.

Kelly took over a dumpster fire, has never won less than ten games, and the talent is getting better and better.
You can question Kelly's choice to go with long-term over short-term talent acquisition, but it appears the strategy has the potential to pay off YUGE. Just have to be patient.
LSU is at a good jumping off point. The future is very bright.

It’s funny how with Kelly there always seems to be one aspect of the program that’s downright terrible. I mean not just average or slightly below average, terrible. I feel like if we just had a serviceable running game this season would be much different.
Hopefully we hang on to that #1 class. Everyone knows how pointless it is to get excited about it this far out. First you have to actually get them to campus, then you have to get them to stay on campus, then you have to hope they live up to that ranking.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Brian Kelly still won't win a national championship with that class. Tough to get excited when your head coach has shown that a majority of the problems with the program are you know, coaching.
