I think it’s stupid for us to be storming the field at this point. Are we a blue blood or are we a sunbelt team? We beat our rival sure, but we’ve beat them 7 of the last 9 times. They haven’t beaten us in BTR in a decade.

I’m still trying to figure out why fans care so much about fans storming the field and if it was appropriate after a big win.
Does it really matter?

Extremely close game, big win. Let the kids storm the field.

I’m totally behind this one. We never led the entire game until the last play in overtime.

The players deserve to feel the passion from the fans. The players earned it.

This is such a boomer mentality. Nobody thinks like that anymore

Storming the field after a big emotional win is the new way. It's not anywhere as embarrassing as so many people here think it is

It only matters if you care about the fine and clearly LSU does not so why should any fan care about it

Students change. Players change. A good storming off the field every year or 2 is good for the soul of the university and what tradition is remaining.

People keep saying this like the 40 year olds weren’t on the field as well.

Neither. We are fans having fun. Ole Miss brought a very highly regarded team into Baton Rouge, and LSU beat them in a classic. I was very happy to see the fans react the way they did.

Yeah what the hell. I'm a Classic Grumpy Old Fart Get Off My Lawn Boomer but hell it's a big game, electric atmosphere, dramatic victory, let 'em storm the field if they want!

Arkansas fans did that last week after beating Tennessee. So let me get this straight; LSU, one of the top programs in the nation, a traditional powerhouse , storms the field after beating a little perennial losing Mississippi school? your fans look like total dufaces. I was embarrassed Arkansas did it over Tennessee. Acting like the first time they ever won a game. What a joke

Somebody needs to tell the obviously oppressed skibidi rizz gen alphas at Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Michigan. They don’t know this good news.

It beats not having any fans in the stadium midway through the 3rd Quarter. Be happy there were fans still there to celebrate.

Do you guys think a bunch of drunk college kids celebrating a great game in an incredible environment are honestly thinking like this?

I can’t believe we have fans who are seriously concerned with whether rushing the field is appropriate after last nights game. These kids are on camps for 4 years and might get a couple chances to storm tiger stadium. Go for it.

Incredible game. Incredible atmosphere.

This used to primarily happen at lesser programs anytime they do something significant.

I think storming the field after beating a team you've dominated the past 100 years is lame. I blame the upsets last week. The students saw Vandy and Arky having fun and wanted to experience it for themselves.
