Keep melting about a way too early poll, UpToPar. It will surely get you ahead in life.

What an excellent, well thought out response.

Nobody is melting about anything. It just shows that the negative perception of the program is not limited to posters on this board or even LSU fans. Those outside the program see Ed Orgeron for what he is.

wouldn't surprise me in any way if LSU finished unranked this season.

People need to watch what they post, Saban is going to use it for recruiting.

Speak for yourself. Coach O does not talk like me.

But it paints a pretty good picture about how our national perception has taken a nose dive

Talk about national perception. The fact that you and several other posters are making so much about one ESPN writers opinion in May is embarrassing.

Doesn't matter. Coach O talks like us. I'll take the trade off. Yaw Yaw yaw!

Coach O does not represent anything about Louisiana except that he likes gumbo and that he is corrupt

Even in our most uncertain offseasons under Les you could count on us being somewhere in everyone's top 15 or so.

Its not just the perception of one writer on ESPN

If you were to talk to any fan base outside of LSU, they would all tell you how confused they are about why LSU hired Ed O as our head coach and no one see's any type of positive trajectory under his watch.

And now we have Top 7 talent and outside the top 25. So, did we really get better?

Who's "making so much" out of this? I mean, besides you throwing your little temper tantrum.

LSU has dropped out of the "way too early" top 25.

So they have had a way too early top 25 for right after the season ended, after juniors declared, after signing day, and now after the spring game. I would love to hear why any of these rankings would change between NSD and the spring game. Not a whole hell of a lot has changed for anyone.

People get their first looks at teams in "live action", albeit without most newcomers and in a scrimmage setting.
