LSU has 4 AP Poll Top 15 SEC road games. Tenn has 1. If you count Clemson, its 5 AP Top 15

I'm so glad SEC is moving to the new schedule format. I can't remember the last time I've seen LSU not finish in the Top 10 in the country in SOS. Now all 4 SEC road games are Top 15 opponents for LSU meanwhile some other teams in the SEC have 0 or 1 like Tenn or Texas. We absolutely deserved to get an Ole Miss, TAMU, Arkansas annual lineup.
I know some hardasses will be like "It doesn't matter, just beat who is on your schedule." It does matter. The difference in playing 4 AP Poll Top 15 SEC road games verse playing 1 realistically makes your CFP chances go from 25% to 80%.

Count Clemson? they are not ranked and did not even get 1 vote in the latest poll.

#5 Ole Miss
#6 Texas A&M
I agree with your overall sentiment, but I'm not sure this adds up.

Tough road schedule, but LSU should be better than Vandy, OU, and Ole Miss. They weren’t better than OM though.

If you go by last year, making the playoffs was about having a favorable schedule. UGA was the only team that had a decent schedule. Everyone else beat up on bad teams.

Yup.. which is why its going to be such a bigger emphasis this year on who you beat, who you lost to. They've mentioned it for weeks for a reason on national shows... and committee will adjust to it

On the bright side of this past week, we could always be Clemson so things are looking up

If you count Clemson for us. Then you have to count Florida for them since they were also AP top 15 when we played Clempson

Like the BCS computers did, they counted the ranking when you played them. Sometimes that makes sense, I'd say it usually doesn't. In the case where injuries affect the team significantly, it makes sense, most early ranking drops, especially early ones, have nothing to do with injuries, though.
