Congrats to team and DD. yes we are still 4th best program and yes IMHO dd is way overdue to be gone but do give this team and coaches credit for getting to super 6.

according to secman, making the Super 6 is the equivalent of making it to the Independence Bowl in football...

Ok, math again there are about 50 teams in d1 gym, so making the super 6 is equal to being in the top 40 in hoops or top 16 in football, a very good season but only stat I need is to remind all we have not won a 5-8 team sec in 32 years...32. But again have said all year this is one of our best teams and I hope they win it all.

it might be if you know you won't be top 3 or so with a chance to win... not too many places have women's gymnastics

Every time I see this complaint I'd love to hear that person's candidate to take over(can't say Bela Karolyi).
I don't know who the candidate should be but we have not won an SEC Title with DD since 1981 and no national titles while Georgia has won 10, Alabama 6 and now Florida has 1, in addition to 10 SEC titles. If you want to settle for being 3rd or 4th best in the conference, keep DD as she's had 36 years to make it happen. If not, go out and find the coach who can. Alleva was ready to bring in the Alabama softball coach who won it all last year and he balked. There's gotta be someone out there who can take it up a notch. Find her/him.
