I realize it's just gymnastics, but they are currently in the national semi finals, and have 1 rotation left in their meet. Right now it looks they are going to make the Super Six tomorrow.

ETA: Sorry about no pics. Here's one to make up for it.

I think Alabama is in the second semifinal which just started at 6 PM Pacific. Arkansas is also in that one. I believe Florida is ranked #1 in the country at this point and is the SEC Champion this year from what I read earlier today.

Correct. Halfway through the second semi, Bama is tied for first. Arkansas in dead last. (6 teams. Top 3 move to super six tomorrow).

This is a tricky position to be in. While LSU is consistently pretty good, we seldom are better than Alabama, Florida and Georgia. We have no national titles and I don't believe we've had an SEC title in decades. eta: Just checked and we won the first SEC title in 1981, but none since. If we want to remain behind those programs but good, we should keep Breaux as the head coach. (She's been the coach for 30 years, (checked - 36th year). If we want to try and take it up a notch, it may be time to look for someone who can lift the program even higher. Georgia has 10 national titles and Alabama has 6. Can't find that Florida has any national titles but has 10 SEC titles.

We are 4-0 against Georgia this season in meets.

This team will be unreal next year considering their core players are all coming back. 30 seasons in and the program has returned as one of the top 6 in the nation. D.D. is doing just fine.

Every time I see this complaint I'd love to hear that person's candidate to take over(can't say Bela Karolyi).

and to be fair, lsu's practice facility is this piece of shite

competing against Alabama and Georgia's state of the art facilities.

just ask DD how she feels about that. make sure you mark off about 3 hours of your calendar. you'll need every minute.

Listening the the FB scrimage but can't wait to cheer for our girls at 4pm PST. I be there! The team and the parents are fabulous and welcoming, representative of true southern hospitality. Our young ladies appear to be humble in seeking national attention for LSU.

The L-S-U cheers are typical of tiger spirit and made the other preliminary teams sound like empty churches. California tigers are very proud. New practice facility looks great...
