There is the third alternative that somehow you get paid to rewatch and analyze the games but that's unlikely.
I'm guessing lying. I'm as big a fan as anyone, but having the time to watch 18 hours or so of football in two weeks is not believable, unless maybe you aren't a fan of any other college, pro, or high school team so you've watched no other games, or you're unemployed, single, and bedridden.

You know, when you record games, you can fast forward the commercials, half time, and any time we're on defense...
It takes like 30 minutes to re-watch all of our offensive plays

Hell i still rewatch games from last year, just for the hell of it.
ETA - This is not even what the 24 hour rule is about. Do you HAVE to celebrate for 24 hours? Thats part of the rule?

Then you should edit your first post to say you re-watched our offensive plays only. Nothing to do with stupidity. I'm aware of DVR and the function of fast forward. You said you re-watched the GAMES more than twice. One could argue that watching the same plays over and over out of boredom is also stupid.
