Nothing he spews is what Jesus taught. You have every right to say whatever you want. Just don’t attribute it to Jesus. Borders on blasphemy.

Here's a list of behaviors and outcomes he gave:

quote:

Teen pregnancy? Abortions? Out of wedlock birth? Crime? Violence? Murder? Section 8 ghetto life? Functional illiteracy? Government dependence? Baby mamas and baby daddies? debased music and culture? Twerking and fighting on game day?

Which of these do you think the Lord Jesus sanctions?

For example, government dependence: the Bible says: ". . . work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one." (1 Th. 4:11b-12)

". . . whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Phil. 4:8

I don't think what he said was blasphemous.

Cool we have a solution for all of this since this all comes down to race from what I have read in the comments. We can pull the black athletes from the school and they can go elsewhere. You can watch LSU get their brains beat in every week bc you don’t like black culture and tell us how you are looking forward to baseball every year.

Run the paying customers away and they’ll leave anyway since the NIL funds dry up.

Amazing what we’re willing to accept as normal behavior nowadays.

Before the gun incident last year it was well broadcasted years before. Read the comments here.

Rant #1 -
The non-student/alumni element coming to campus is going to lead to more and more problems. We tailgate on the North side of campus in the Enchanted Forest. Nice, quiet area. Shady. Contained area that families can let small children run around without having to worry about cars. With the early game yesterday we didn’t setup a tailgate and didn’t bring any kids. Before the game the area was its quiet self. After the game…total sh*t show. Seeing videos of fights and reports of supposed tear gas did not surprise me. We had difficulty leaving the area with people walking in streets and parking lots. Literally had to pass an abandoned vehicle in the street whose occupants had left the vehicle to twerk. None of this crowd was here for the LSU football game. Just the street party. Same crowd that came in for South Carolina game and lit up the police radar last year.

It was bad enough that my wife said I don’t know if we should bring the kids to this area again. I don’t disagree with her.

My folks have a place right by there. They said it was absolutely horrid yesterday. They didn't even leave their place after they got home form the game.

This seems to be becoming a yearly thing there these people pick a game and spot and it becomes a social media driven shitshow. Then the cops come and its fine the rest of the season. I took an especially close interest because my boys and I (11 and 7) are going to the Bama game. Will be the first game for my 7 year old and the first one my 11 year old will remember. I knew going in to keep their head on a swivel and have my 20 year old step son keep a close eye on things since we're staying with my folks over there. Sadly, I'd rather my kids go ot Texas A&M over LSU at this point.

Cops need to be on social media monitoring this stuff more frankly so they can be better prepared. Same thing happened at the begining of the school year at the Hooka place around the corner.

Baton Rouge born and raised. In my late 30’s with children of my own. Haven’t read this thread start to finish so I am sure it’s been said, but I’ll be the a-hole / pessimist and say it.

Until the right person comes into power - whatever power position that is (governer, mayor, university president, police chief, etc etc) - who can get this city as a whole under control, this will continue. I have my head on swivel 24/7 especially with my wife / children when I go to a damn gas station, grocery store, Walgreens, etc on a Wednesday afternoon in a “nice area” near campus. I’ve become embarrassed when I speak to people with no affiliation with Baton Rouge or LSU about what they think about our college and city.

Our reputation has become completely thought of as ghetto, dangerous, etc. I don’t know that our “republican” mayor has much power, but I do know he spends more time pandering to north Baton Rouge / SU / libtards and making social posts about it with rap playing in background than he does working to solve anything. The demographics are what they are but the lack of control around campus is sickening.

I love Baton Rouge. I love LSU. I own a small business here. My kids are young and growing up here. But as of now, there’s no way in hell I’d allow any of them to attend LSU. It is truly an embarrassment around campus. I don’t know the solution, but I hope to God someone smarter/politically savvier than me can figure it out.

I have definitely seen the white frats absolutely wilding.
What does this even mean in English?

Breaking news: Shooting at "white" fraternity on LSU's campus injuring innocent bystanders. - Oh wait, this never happens.

I walk through the Parade Grounds and visit fraternity tents every game day for years to saw hello to my nephews/nieces and friends kids. Never ONCE have I ever seen anything other than a bunch of nice kids having a good time. Trying to compare these LSU students is shameful.
