There is no way that Marcel Brooks isn't a starter week one.

I think Thomas is starting at Guard. He looked great before his early injury. Also why do you have Turner at RT? Any info they are giving up on him at center?

The DE depth really makes you wonder what is going through Ray Parker’s head. He’d have a a lot of playing time at OT.

Wow. This team is very very talented all over the place. We are going to be really good. Lol, I just cant wait to see us Fightin' to defend our national title next season. We are going to be tough to beat and will make alot of analysts eat their words and go back on their predictions. We canndefinitely repeat if they just play to their capabilities and to the LSU standard that has been set. Just my opinion.

id say Todd Harris gets the nod over Lewis at that spot...i know its not the same position but id bet Todd Harris is better than Cam at that position and they are going to put best player on the field

i think Racey would get starting roll at Slot and 2nd string at other WR positions...Slot i believe is the only real unknown and could change out a lot

CB position imo opposite of Stingley is wide open...obviously Flot, Jones, Ward all have the upper hand unless Ricks is just lights out

and based on playing time from last year i would just put Brooks ahead of Thorton

as I stated in the OP, I didn't assume incoming freshmen would jump anybody.

But you put Ricks as the starting corner, jumping Flott, Ward and Raydar Jones. Nice work, though.

If McClendon and Thomas are our starting DEs it’s gonna be a long year for the DL

I have no opinion on McClendon, but I really liked Thomas last year. He was too small to be an everyday player at DE in our 3-4, but he showed great athleticism on passing downs. And he is the right size for a 4-3 DE. I predict big things from him in Pellini's 4-3.

This could be sensationalized but Brody Miller put this article out a few weeks ago. McClendon is supposedly looking like a monster

quote:

But around that time in September, Hall of Fame coach and LSU consultant John Robinson came to Orgeron with an idea: “What do you think about looking at TK McLendon at defensive end?”

]Within a few practices, LSU staffers were saying “This guy is going to be a stud.” One LSU position coach described McLendon as “athletic as all get out.” His mindset changed with workouts. His father saw an entirely new son excited to put the work in. He spent the fall of 2019 learning how to play defense during a redshirt season. That also meant he sat on the bench as LSU won a national championship.

Athletic ($$)

As for Thomas, he showed enough in spurts that he will be good. You just missed it

Also Neil farrell is a DE

Ali Gaye will likely be in the 2-deep

I think Roy is a future SDE

I think Ojulari is a future LB

Would putt Devonta Lee at MLB

These coaches say all kinds of things. He’s unproven and has never played the position, so to think he’s going to get it right away in the sec is wishful thinking

Didn't he practice there all last season. I think this 4-3 defense has been on Orgeron's mind for a while.

Where do you think Webb falls in all of this? Is he more of a LB than Ojulari?

Appreciate the work Scotcho!

I am hoping Emery gets an attitude this off-season. Add a Guice-like attitude and the guy will be great.

In spurts does not mean he’s gonna be good playing every down

When Thomas was in(on obvious passing downs)his only job was to get to the quarterback. That’s totally different than being a starter on 1st and 2nd down

He had like 5 tackles last year

I don’t even think he’ll start, but he showed enough to be in the rotation
