Maybe you are right...my point is that we love glorifying our soldiers. I have several of them in my immediate family...that doesn't make them any less of a dick at a reunion. They are people just like us, as are the football players...

I don't know why, but what bothers me the most is that JJ told his dad today that he didn't know anything about a fight. Not that he was there but didn't participate, or that he wasn't there but heard it from others.
I just think it's unlikely that, if 15-30 (it varies) fb players were there, the senior QB would hear it first from his dad, even if JJ was at home that night. Not a single phone call saying "dude you'll never guess what just happened"? Not a single text message from any player?
Is it possible? Sure. It's just...unlikely.

I personally think he is full of BS. If he wasn't, I highly doubt he would say that he will only tell us the "real" story of what happened AFTER the police press charges and the full story is out there already. It just doesn't add up.
