He did in fact throw 8 punches landing 3 and afterward stated he thought he fought incredibly well.

It's even more disturbing that the players put themselves into a situation like the one that is being discussed within this thread. I'm paraphrasing, but the telling statement of this entire thread was something to the effect of all the players worrying about the outcome of what had just taken place immediately after the fact. That is the mentality of an immature kid.
Many "what if's" can be entered into the scenario as well. What if one of the guys the players allegedly attacked was armed with a firearm and, albeit against the law, decided to open fire which could have possibly injured or killed a player?
Whether any of you realize it or not, these kids represent Louisiana State University on a national level. Over eighty of them go to school for free because of their athletic ability. If they were leaders, they wouldn't be out at a bar at 2:00 in the morning two weeks before the beginning of the season. It reflects poorly upon the university.
Yes, I'm a student at LSU. Yes, I'm over 30. Yes, I know what constitutes being a leader. And no, I don't go to bars or drink.
The best thing to do is walk away. You may be labeled as a piece of female genitalia, but you didn't put yourself or, in this matter, the university in a bad situation.
Leadership isn't jumping in and taking up for your buddy/teammate. Leadership is breaking up a fight or trying to avoid it altogether. Some people never seem to be figure out that one.

Sounds like we may have heard the same account. Jefferson deserves to be suspended but the "victims" don't deserve any sympathy.

Don't these people who engage in fights with football players know that 92,000 people minus 7,000 visitors equals 85,000 people that will kick their arse if they prevent a win on saturdays.
