Was it hard to not support the school you attended? I understand people who go to olol or brcc, schools that do not ever play lsu, that can support both schools. I would think if I attended a different school, I would have to support the school I attended. Just curious as to how you can go to another university and not support that school.

If the Tigers ever played the University of Northern Iowa, I would definitely be rooting for the Tigers. I was a Tiger fan before I decided to attend UNI.

It would be really fun to see tho - that'll never happen. I'd rather see the Tigers play Iowa again - and not lose on a Drew Tate prayer.

LMAO, 70% of LSU fans didn't even go to college, much less an actual LSU rival. Get real.

(I am currently attending LSU)

I graduated from CS Fullerton and they don't have a football team, thus no dilemma.

The way I look at is that I have been cheering for LSU since I was born so attending the university doesn't mean I can't cheer for them. I would also say that my fandom is greater than a guy from Florida or wherever who graduated from LSU.

I've been a LSU fan since I can remember but went to ULM... I support ULM by purchasing season tickets and I go to 2 or 3 football games a year but LSU Football and Baseball were my 1st passion as a child. People cracked on me last year during the ULM game when I wore my LSU shirt and ULM hat...doesn't bother me

I grew up an LSU fan and always will be. I got offered a scholly by a smaller school b/c I wasn't good enough to play ball at LSU coming out of HS. I never quit being a Tiger fan, never will. I don't see why it's so hard to understand.

In my case, I am from Kenner and moved to TX while in middle school. I went to UNT but I/family have always been huge LSU fans. I guess if you still have family in the LA area it's not so hard.

You know, I don't think that really matters. What matters is that yoiu cheer for the Tigers.

Dumb logic.

I've been a LSU fan since I can remember as a child because my dad loved LSU and so on. I attended NSU because I had to work and pay my way through school. I got a good education and supported the Demons in their sports, but LSU has always been my number 1.

What's hard to understand?

I support lsu and Nicholls and understand LSU has nothing to gain and NSU nothing to lose.

Fwiw my 3 freshman years at LSU I attended more LSU games than I will ever attend at NSU. (football)

With my nephew playing baseball for the colonels I'll have a good 2 year stretch at Didier field.

If LSU ever plays SAU it will be tough. Good thing that's never going to happen.

You know people can support more than one team right?

I played football at a small school on a scholarship and was asked to walk on by Nader. Every Saturday when my game was over me and the other La. Guys hurried back to our dorms to watch LSU. Different school always been a fan.

I grew up in BR, and both grandfathers were coaches for football and baseball at LSU. Also, almost all of my extended family went to LSU. We moved up to Connecticut when I was 11 years old. I wanted to play baseball in college and wasn't good enough to play at LSU, so I went to Elon. Elon is 1AA, so it is hard to root for them (but I do since they never impact LSU). LSU is in my blood, even though I didn't go there.

I graduated from a school in the Northeast but work for a family business where everyone, and I mean everyone, graduated from LSU.

I'm a fan
