sorry but i have to get this off my chest i havent been posting on TD very long but it seems like every time i get on some dick head just cant wait to talk about how bad Les Miles is or JJ is going to suck this season or " i bet we are going to lose half are games" what the frick. i have been going to LSU games my whole life it is the greatest school in america with some of the the greatest fans God ever created what happen to the passion and the support some of you guys need to go blow yourselves. Its cool make fun of my post i dont give a shite atleast im not bashing LSU at every turn. FOREVER LSU see you in Pasadena
P.S. we are going to bet Florida and Bama sorry if some of you so called fans have a problem with that

so if someone predicts lsu to go 8-5 or 9-4 this year, they are not real fans? but if you predict them to go 11-2 or 12-1 you're the greatest fan in the world?

1) you think LSU football is 80% bad, or
2) you gather more enjoyment from the negatives about LSU football than you do from the positives.
And neither of those reflect the attitudes of a healthy fan.

Hey man, A lot of tiger fans are optimistic about our football team. We will have an extremely good football team this year. Will it be the best in the SEC?
It's too soon to tell. We will be very strong on both sides of the ball. Turnovers will be very important this year for us! Les Miles has typically been good at winning the turnover battle.
There is no reason to bash the tigers, we have a great team.

Dissension is the cornerstone of democracy, as well as any public institution, including LSU. The absence of dissent invites incompetence in a variety of forms. Letting incapable leaders (including AD's and Coaches) act with total impunity is nonsense.
I grant you this.... the University and the Athletic Department weren't created overnight. The vision and effort of all involved needs to be acknowledged. Likewise, we, as beneficiaries and taxpayers, should feel duty bound to dissent (in an organized and respectful way) if we don't like the results. No lynch-mobs, but letting our voices be heard is the foundation of our lives as Americans.... and I think it also extends to any organization that's derived from our contributions.
Just because LSU is big and Les Miles makes a $$zillion doesn't exempt them from delivering a satisfactory product. They are obligated to us. They really are!
Term limits on coaches?? Hmmmmm???

Making realistic assessments of the team based on past performance, statistics and basic facts is not the same as bashing Miles, the players etc.
Like this:
An 8-5 team with narrow wins against Georgia, Arkansas and Mississippi State should not exactly be favorites to win it all. Especially considering wins like LaTech and State where the Tigers had less total offense than the teams that finished 2nd. We had the want, but we didn't have the offense.
Sure; with a couple of breaks we could have had 9 or maybe even 10 wins. But with a couple of breaks the other way, we could have ended up with 6.
