LSU fans didn’t “run off” Will Wade.
To the contrary, most LSU fans really liked Will Wade and didn’t want to see him let go.
Nonetheless, most rational fans understand the circumstances and why he was let go. Will Wade - and LSU as a program - got unlucky with the timing and info coming out of the FBI probe. It is what it is.

Amen brother. You will never make me believe that Woodward fired him because of some deal he cut with the gestapo so they would would go easy on the football problems. He could have at least waited until the season was over instead of during the damm tournament
