Here is a look at the LSU Depth Chart going into the Spring.

Method of Organization:
• Returning players are listed first.
• Incoming Transfers are listed above Freshmen.
• Freshman Early Enrollees are listed above Summer Enrollees, even if they have a lower On3 rating, because this is helpful for visualizing which players will be present for Spring Practice (purple = present).

Notes:
• The Offensive Line has no incoming transfers or early enrollees.
• By contrast, Jack has no players returning from last season.
• I suspect that Fitzgerald West will have to move into the #2 LG spot for the Spring, rather than remaining as a 3rd or 4th string option at DT.
• I added Special Teams (bottom-right of the 1st image) because this is helpful to those who wish to count how many players are currently on scholarship. I suspect that Gregory Clayton and Damion Ramos will earn scholarships, but I have listed them in pink because they do not currently count against the 85-man roster.

Corner, Jack, Safety, and Nickel are the positions I am looking forward to seeing most. Excited about Spring Football already.

We might see him move to one of the other Safety spots. Major Burns got the start at Nickel during the Citrus Bowl, and Greg Brooks was playing Nickel at the beginning of the season before swapping with Jay Ward. Either way, you have to believe that this is the make-or-break year for Ryan.

They’re obviously going to address it.

I count 82 scholarship players if you include Clayton and Ramos.

Are we back to 85 scholarships after the self-imposed reduction for 2021 and 2022? If so, we have 3 left and need linebackers badly.

Yes, 85 is our number.

We have 3 to 5 spots available.... before someone transfers OUT after spring practice.

I bet we add 3 more -

LB
LB
OL

tRant's new favorite going to be Ibieta? Better watch out if he gets any glowing reports in spring.

LSU is not going to have an 85 man roster again this year so it's kinda irrelevant. More transfers are going to happen in spring especially on DL/OL. Waaaay too many DL right now for that number to stay the same. Guys like Langston are on chopping block unless he shows out in spring.

Langston was fully dressed for the Citrus Bowl, but he never took a snap. Walk-ons played, but he didn't. There has been no news addressing what happened.

You’re getting downvoted but it is true. Guy is a liability on the field.

Dude KO'd the Purdue WR talking trash after he was burnt toast and the QB under threw him. Typical Ryan bs.

Looking at the depth chart now, we've done a great job at DL and CB, but obviously still a lot to do at LB. Need at least 2 good ones IMO.
