So again, 12-2 = 12-2, but hey we won a national title and finished #1 with one of those. But, same thing in the end.
I already covered why that's not an equal comparison, but I bet you'll just ignore it for a second time.

You're running yourself in circles. Stop backpedaling and take a side. Either record = record no matter what or maybe, just maybe, each year is actually different from one another. 12-2 one year, could be a lot different of a final outcome than 12-2 in another (reality).

Not at all. I very clearly explained why that scenario doesn't apply, and you don't like it.

I haven't changed my argument at all. You're not very good at reading.

Go back and read and see if you can figure it out. Maybe the third time will be the charm.

People have to look past the 10 million dollar buyout. That is just if he is fired after 2019 which isn’t happening no matter how much anybody hates O.
I’m not a math whiz or a smart man in general but it looks like the buyout will go down to 7.5 million after 2020 season then 4 million every year after that under the current contract.
Those numbers aren’t that bad considering the only way he is getting fired after 2020 is if they go 6-6 or 7-5 the next two seasons.

They absolutely do, and every year is different one to the next. This year's schedule is not next year's schedule. This year's outcomes for everyone can be viewed at differently than next year's outcomes.
The results on the field in 2018 resulted in a final ranking of #6/#7. The results on the field in 2015 resulted in a final ranking of #16/#17.
In 2018 we played an undefeated team in the Fiesta Bowl.
In 2015 we played a crap Texas Tech team with zero defense.
We got 5 home SEC games in 2015 because of a hurricane.
We did NOT get 5 home SEC games in 2018.
These are fairly noticeable differences to anyone who follows college football.
I follow College Football more than most on this site.
LSU had nearly the same strength of schedule in 15 as they did in 18. The only difference is that UCF propped the 18 schedule up.
That Texas Tech team would have beaten that UCF team

Because your explanation lines up exactly with what I prescribed, that each year is different and the same record year over year results in different outcomes. Then you go full-retard by saying record = record regardless which completely contradicts yourself.

The frick it does.

No one expects you to be objective.
You saying we weren't actually the 6th/7th best team last year isn't objective either bud

We were ranked that, sure. But we lost to teams we finished ranked behind, so do you really think we were the 6th best team in the country?

Big differences in Texas Tech vs. UCF and 5 SEC home games vs. 4.
Imagine if we got Florida at home in 2018, could have made the difference in 11-2 and 10-3. You cannot ignore that.

Non objectively, LSU finished tied with Kentucky for 5th in conference.
5 sec teams finished in the top 12
6 in the top 16

We lose like we did in '16?

Can we do this for the Auburn game too? Or the bowl game? Or do you only do hypotheticals that add wins?

On one hand you state record = record regardless of year.
Then on another state, well but if you win something xyz it's different.
Then you claim 10-3 = 10-3 despite the fact the outcomes of each were quite different.
So again, which is it? You cant say record=record then just contradict yourself and say it doesnt unless you want to claim only 1 or 2 things change that. A season is judged beyond just SEC finish/national title. Rankings are a pretty good indication of where you stack up nationally. What bowl you get as well is a pretty solid indicator.

I'm making apples to apples here since that's apparently all you want to do. Is 5 SEC home games an advantage or not?

If you're too stupid to see who that's not equivalent, that's on you. We are comparing years that we did not win our division. Stop trying to change the discussion.

Lolol. going by that logic, any team that ever loses to teams ranked behind them should never be ranked higher than them regardless of what else happens.

Welp... I guess we're done talking about the actual contract.

A slight one, sure. Not having Brandon Harris seems like an advantage too.
