the poster was just analogizing it to a political play or ploy.
The thinking here is that the board has their man and wanted to get something out there to affirm to their man that they are serious about having Miles step aside and bringing him in.
Again I don't have a problem with what was said. It reeks worse than Jetgate but I can see why it was done IF they have their man and for the above reason.

I'm not saying he's right, or the money is right in this sense. But it's not like it's fricking out of the question that this scenario would and could and does happen more often than people on this board seem to think.
I guess I'm just saying we shouldn't really be shocked and appalled when shite like this happens. If you think about it logically the dots can be connected for it to make sense for a comment.

All I'm saying is that I hope that if they (board) are going to be coming out and making statements like this that obviously cut the legs out from under the head coach, then they better be sure they know what they are doing next.

I'm not an insider, but I have family in the LSU system and my cousin played in the late 80's and early 90's. That doesn't qualify me as anything
