With the roof open at the Box, those numbers will flip.

Just hope we don’t get a pitcher that’s throwing too slow

He certainly hasn't had a positive impact. We lost a lot on offense, but this team doesn't seem to have been coached up at all.

Yeah, we are just not good at producing baserunners.

Mainieri said the balls weren't carrying today. I was under the impression that in order for the ball to carry you had to make contact with it first.

I’ve come to realize Maineri has more excuses than bama and Clemson fans combined

There has to be eight guys walking the halls at LSU that can hit better than what’s dressing out on a weekly basis.

I could maybe understand all of the strikeouts if we hit many bombs, but we don't. This lineup is just terrible. I expected this offense to be bad, but they have exceeded my expectations.

That would be Mid-Week games, not weekend games

Oklahoma had a couple of balls hit to the warning track...I don’t know why he would have said that.

He's right....the balls were not carrying because we were swinging and missing. Eddie Smith has this philosophy of the OPS being the most important stat as a hitter. He values the walk and he values power. Don't see either being produced. We are young, but so far he has failed as a hitting coach.

We are hitting homeruns at an above average clips, but we are 281st in the country at hitting doubles. Thats has to improve.

This makes the overall stats look worse. We don’t have big innings because we don’t string together hits and walks at all.
