We were 39th last week and we are 36th this week. Only 8 teams between 22 and 38 did not lose a game last week. Though I still think the 25 is an arbitrary number of positions that doesn't make sense in basketball that should have a top 50.

Oklahoma doesn't make too much sense to me. At 12-7 I guess the strength of the Big 12 is the only thing they have left keeping them in the top 25 when they have lost 4 of their last 5.

We have a stout top 8 or so... After that it definitely drops off.

OU staying in the ranking at 12-7 is comical
pisses me off.

15-4 with a win over WVU should pass the eye test.

Should have beat either A&M or Mizzou...

Personally I thought it would be the road record that would have gotten LSU it's most creditability. 4-1 with wins at WVU, Ole Miss, Florida, and Vandy. Guess LSU fans are the only ones to find that impressive.

Always appreciated SOS. Thanks again.

Cause for Concern: The Tigers had 35 turnovers in the two games this week. They came from all over the court too. Martin had 10 on the week to lead the team, but Gray's 7 and Quarterman's 6 were also far too high and need to be cleaned up.

SOS I've just resigned myself to the fact that I'm just going to have to live with this. If it was going to be cleaned up, it would have by now. It's frustrating to me but I don't expect at this point it's going to get much better. We'll just have to live with keeping teams in games and pulling them out in the end, which we've managed to do already in conference a couple of times.

Great position. The next four games are VERY WINNABLE. Let's hold serve in those four and we're in great shape to get where we should be.

Jalyn Patterson continues to take advantage.
I absolutely love everything about this kid, especially that he doesn't turn the ball over.

I just went through a bunch of bracketologies and every single one had LSU in the field (that were updated this week). Anywhere from 6th to 11th seed but still a good sign.

I kinda have also. I will say, it's amazing that we still have a positive AST:TO ratio almost every single game. We force the issue.

At least they're all putting us in. The ones with lower seeds are probably because of the Mizzou and aTm losses, but there's still plenty of time to climb up in the seeding.

Its undeniable that some teams get held up due to a predisposed affection for a team... Some bracketologies still have Florida in them.....

There's definitely a "name" bias toward certain schools, you can see it in rankings and a lot of bracketologies. Kentucky is deservedly #1 this year, but you can see the bias with teams like Florida.

Seems that Arkansas and Georgia are getting more love than LSU. Texas A&M got two votes. At least the SEC is getting more teams noticed.

I truly do not understand the mass UGA love over us. We beat them head to head. Road win vs WVU>>>>>>>>>>home vs Seton Hall. Our TAMU loss aint looking so bad.

Best reason I can think of is our SEC losses (@Mizzou, aTm) are worse than theirs (Arky, @LSU). Sure, we beat them head-to-head, but those losses stick out in peoples' minds.
