Need to crush the section between @Tenn & @Ky.
Schedule is front and back loaded.

First 7 is like a murderers row of games. Holy shite
Luckily we have a serial killer at head coach.
If we go 5-2 those first 7, I think we have a shot at winning the SEC

(As of now) that is an absolutely brutal start to the schedule. Four of the first seven on the road ALL against teams expected to be in the top 1/3rd of the league, along with 3 equally as tough home games.
We'll know a lot about this team by the end of January. I guess the only good news is that over the last three years LSU has usually started out well in SEC play (it's been the middle and the end where they have kind of fallen off a bit)
IMO, a realistic goal (without have seen any of the teams actually play a game yet, of course) is 4-3 through that first seven. Anything better than that and we'll probably know we have a real contender in the league this year.
EDT: It looks like the league is trying to take LSU out of contention early. I'm ready to see a Jordan Belfort locker room speech from Wade...both to the NCAA and the rest of the SEC...

Go 5-2 in the first 7 and we’re the favorite to win the SEC and likely a top 15 team for the rest of the season.
Most fans will freak out but even going 3-4 puts us in good shape for the rest of the season.

One other thing, In the past few years it seems like LSU hasn’t had many of their big home games fall on Saturdays. This season Tennessee, Arkansas, and Bama are all Saturday home games.
Students better get their asses to campus for those early January games.

go 5-5 or better in the 10 really tough games and win the rest and you are still looking at 13-5 or better

Will you be required to show proof of vaccine?

Not only that! But because it is an indoor event you ALSO have to wear a mask. You know, because the covid virus is filled with helium. So while you can exhale the virus 6 inches away from the person next to you without risk because it will just float out of the top of Tiger Stadium you can't do so in the PMAC because the roof...75 feet above your head...will trap the floating virus and rain it back down on top of everyone.

You want to get Kentucky early on the schedule. They usually start slow.

Boy, our non-confernce games are pretty low. Wish we would play some tougher ones for ratings!

Yeah we have to at least split the first round of tough ones and don’t sleep through the mid schedule
