At this point Wake Forest is a conference game. We somehow play them every year and it has been this way since the Ben Simmons days.

Really good preseason schedule. Should challenge our new squad. Beat either Gonzaga or Houston, and gives us quality wins for the tournament

Our 2nd home game is the night before the Bama game in football. Campus should be in a frenzy. Thats gonna be a fun one to attend.

The only real downside is there is still no noteworthy home OOC game. What I mean by "noteworthy" is something that will entice casual fans to show up in November/December. I guess you could argue Wake Forest fits that mold this season. But its (a) been a few decades now since Wake was a national power and (b) this is the 4th time in 6 years they will play, so I don't sense there will be a ton of excitement.
However, I do think a good OOC home game will probably happen next year.
