when do we find out if we are post season banned or not?

I am not sure on that. But I will tell you this, KJ Williams I believe has 1 more year of eligibility. If he knew he wasn’t going to be able to compete for a championship in his final year, then I think he goes elsewhere. Just my thoughts.

If we get an NCAAT ban but have a good season, could we not still go to the NIT?
ETA: Just checked; it’s run by the ncaa too.
But the CBI isn’t

¡No comprehende!
Within a week of Wade being fired, I read no less than 100 posts on here that Woodward had killed the basketball program. Now, only 2 month later, it's not only alive, but thriving? That would mean the Rant is populated by reactionary chicken littles and we all know that's not true.

The two guys I'll miss are Brandon Murray and Efton Reid.
Murray is already a quality player. Other than being close to his home, he is not in a better situation at Georgetown.
Reid was a target for criticism by a lot of the Rant, but I think he has tons of upside. He'll improve quite a bit a Gonzaga.
I am cautiously optimistic about 22-23 under McMahon.

Potentially
G Adam Miller (11 PPG) As Freshmen with Illinois.
If he comes back I’ll have a sliver of confidence we can be as good as last year (.500 conf team).

You should already have that confidence honestl. We have improved our roster at more spots than we have downgraded this off-season. Even if we miss out of Miller to more solid additions will make this a a very solid team.

Just to play around with the OP's PPG numbers (I realize this won't translate perfectly).
LSU as currently constructed will have returning college players that will have combined for 72 ppg last year.
Add in Adam Miller's 11 PPG from his freshman year at Illinois and that number is 83 ppg.
This is still with 1 more player left to add that could also have college scoring experience.

I can appreciate your confidence. They look better than I thought they would for sure. But they look like a mid tier conference team. 7-9 wins.

I think it’s looking like we will have a ton of guys that can score but maybe not any that are elite scorers.

Not sure - the NCAA moves so slowly in these things but beginning to hear whispers that it may not be as bad as we first thought - the media and others wanted WW and they got their pound of flesh so.....we'll see.

And there is still room to get a few more pieces. Next season could be much better than I anticipated.
