So you're saying Taz will dominate this season? Cool, I hope you're right.
As far as Taz being clutch his whole career, I disagree. Last season was his breakout year, before that he was just a good SEC player, nothing special...Aside from Taz, how are we going to account for the huge loss of Marcus Thornton who was just as important as Taz to the teams success last year?

I think more guys will contribute. we should get more scoring out of Green than we did out of Johnson, Spencer steps up his scoring, Hopefully Warren can avg more PPG than Temple did and if all those happen, it should help offset the loss of Thornton's scoring. Hopefully Bass and Harris can contribute some points off the bench. I know Bass has been working hard.

I'm just saying that I don't see this team making it to the dance. Obviously, I hope they prove me wrong.

He does everything. The only reason he didn't score more was because he took a backseat to upperclassmen. His freshman year he avg. 11.4 ppg; however, he had some 20 point games when Tyrus was hurt. His sophomore year he avg. 14.5 and was still taking a backseat to a Big Baby team. Last year he avg. 16.3 out of position. I expect the guy to be 20+ with the team completely centered around him.
The main thing is he is an all-around player. He is also a team guy and will play the role the team needs. Johnson has already stated that the team will for once revolve around him when he announced his move back to SF.

PG: Chris Bass (SO)
SG: Bo Spencer (JR)
SF: Tasmin Mitchell (SR)
PF: Storm Warren (SO)
C : Garrett Green (SO)
Bench:
Dennis Harris (FR)
Aaron Dotson (FR)
Alex Farrer (SR)
Zach Kinsley (SO)
Eddie Ludwig (FR)
I really think this is how we should start the season. Let Dotson get some experience before we start calling him Fresh All-SEC. Chris Bass showed signs of being a pretty good PG later in the season last year - A little wild, but still in control. Not to mention Bo is a SG. He has done a good job of becoming a PG for this team, but his skill set is perfect for a SG.
Also, I think people will be suprised with the production from Dennis Harris off the bench. We have a major upgrade this year on the low block with depth and potential. I can easily see this team making a run similiar to last year.
I am an optimist, but also a realist. We really didn't get much worse at any position. The only one that is argueable is SG, but I think Spencer could really do some damage there without having to take 50% of our shots. Low post now has depth and Storm should be a solid ball player if he can learn to control his body and foul calls.

I say flip it to 10-6. SEC is still a bit down. Besides Kentucky who will be nasty. State is okay.

Taz can go 40+/10+ on State. No worries.

Just not sure if he will, but he has the skill to.

Wow...who are the 2nd and 3rd scoring options? Hope we can play in-your-jock defense.

Being objective, 6-10 SEC. We are injury away from completely sucking but if one player other than Mitchell or Bo steps up we could be 9-7 or 10-6.
I think Taz will be the best player in the SEC, but LSU would have to at least compete for the West for him to get POY

taz
bo
dotson
isnt too bad a scoring threesome. warren is poised to have a good year while playing a bigger role. the west is still going to be pretty bad next year, east will be better, but other than miss. state, 2-6 in the west could be a crapshoot. alabama has a lot of talent, ole miss will be healthy, LSU and auburn will be replacing a lot of talent, and you never know what your gonna get with arkansas. green, harris and bass are the wildcards. i cant wait to see harris out there.

SEC down??????????? We were the only team that wasnt young last year. I really dont see the tigers being good at all. IF we have 500 record TJ should be coach of the year. Taz want score over 20 if the use him as a true SF. Taz was a beast last year down low and I prey thats they way we use him this year not shooting from the outside. Ive seen Stringer play and trust me he want save us

Taz is 6'7 and 235 lbs as a SF.
What's wrong with that?

We will be better than everyone expect, just like last year, due to one major factor, COACHING.
TJ is a bad-arse. Look at how much better Taz, Bo and MT (and the team) when they played under Brady and last year. Don't underestimate coaching and team chemistry.
1) Brady for his life could NOT find a PG to save his life (and Bo was on the team).
2)MT was a wild player, took so many ill-advised shots while playing no defense at all (under Brady).
3) The team played as a TEAM last year. They didn't run around for 30 seconds then passed the ball to MT to bailed them out, that was why J. Brady is at ASU now.
If everyone is healthy (bench does suck), I expected we will be in the bid dance again. BOOK IT.

If this was last year with this line up I would say 8-8 or 9-7. However, I think the SEC is going to be much improved. So I'm thinking 6-10. Could they do better than that? Of course, but that's where my expectations are at.

We knew it might be a rebuilding year coming into this season. If we make the NCAA tournament, I'll feel like we over achieved.
NIT would be a nice year with the available talent. Beyond that would be shocking in my view.
