No offense guys, but I don't see much of a chance for NCAA's. We just lost WAY too much, and didn't add a ton.

The future of LSU basketball is mighty good, but I think it's another two years before we get back to the NCAA's. But if we get Andre Stringer, we'll be in great shape for the future.

Temple is overrated. He was a solid player defensively, but he was useless on the offensive end. Q. Thornton was just decent. Johnson underachieved big time.

Marcus Thornton was our only big loss. It was a very big loss.

If our front line plays bigger this year then we might actually not be as bad as people are predicting on this board. Our front line was complete shite. We had to play Taz(our only guy with size) out of position.

A Mitchell, Warren, and Green front line might be a huge improvement this year. We would hope Bo would be better next year. If Dotson ends up being solid we are could easily be a very good team.

Taz will be putting up 20+ a game and carry this team.

Probably will be a pretty bad year...Green & Warren are big ??? as starters, and Dotson has never played a game. Taz will probably lead the SEC in scoring but he doesn't have the size to help the team get wins against decent teams. PG looks like the only spot that might have a capable backup.

Foul trouble will be a HUGE issue for this team...I can also see this team taking tons of 3's this season to try and compensate for their lack of size, depth & talent.

WTF? Taz is a very solid as a SF. He has NBA size and is probably one of the strongest players for their size in the league.

Warren and Green are way bigger than Johnson and Temple as far as size goes.

Taz is 6'7 and 235 lbs as a SF.

Can you guarantee me that both Warren & Green will be solid as starters? Can Taz go inside and score consistently against all the teams in the SEC that have more overall depth & talent and just as much or more size than LSU?

IMO, Warren will be a beast inside. I have no idea what we'll get out of Green this year. I wasn't impressed with him two years ago.

well he was a true freshman. he was tenacious on the glass and can play defense. if he gets 8PPG we'll be better at C than last year

I am just saying our biggest problem was weak arse players. If they can be strong on the front line we could end up seeing huge improvements. I don't know how great they will be I was just stating if they end up being good their size will make a big difference.

Dude are you kidding me? He was first team All-SEC last year at PF. SF is his more natural position. Taz has been clutch his whole college career. 6'7 and 235lbs is very solid for a SF. Have you ever met the guy? The guy is probably one of the strongest guys pound for pound in the SEC. He has always played a high number of minutes also.

If Warren & Green are good, and if Lofton is as advertised, this team could surprise..Lot of if's though.

If they make it through the NCAA investigations.

I'm definately thinking NIT for this year. I would be pretty suprised and excited if we got into the NCAAs. Like some people have already said, I think alot of the team's success this year will be determined by how well Dotson can come in and contribute right away.
