Still holding out my McHopes that this is just an annual announcement and doesn’t say anything about the future. Just keeping up appearances before the axe falls.

The only hope is that like Trent Johnson several years ago, McMahon sees the writing on the wall and ejects now instead of waiting to be let go next year. The problem is no power conf program would hire him and, financially, it makes little sense to not have LSU fire him.

The ONLY possibility is Murray St is likely to be making a coaching change this year. That’s probably the only school that would want him right now. If he stays at LSU another year that job won’t be available.

Don't laugh. This team is on pace for a Missouri-style McTurnaround for 2025-26. McMahon is a genius for his development of the Youth of America through McSummer training

I balled at Daddy Dale's camps for three years.

Good times. I went three years in the mid 80s. Met some dudes from South Lafourche that I am still friends with to this day.

I don't know exactly what the terms of his buyout are, but it would be pretty dumb for him to just take a wash on presumably multiple millions of dollars if he were to just leave. One can hope I guess.

Attended in 1981. Don Redden (RIP) was the star of the camp. Greg ‘Spiderman’ Perkins was on my 5 on 5 team. Theron Cojoe was another future Tiger that was there.

Anybody else remember the 7 ft 4 inch ‘’Ralph’ wooden body that was in the PMAC practice court basement for the camp? It was named for Ralph Sampson who was at Virginia at the time. They would have us post up against it to see how hard it was to score on someone that tall.

Not sure. I went three years in early 90-92. Played in the league championships for college first year and then each following year in pro level. We lost every time .
