The 36-year-old Tennessee native will also accept a termination of his contract if any Level I or Level II NCAA violations are discovered by LSU or the NCAA infractions committee, per Dellenger.

We've covered this to the point of exhaustion. Of course they are going to investigate LSU. But the NCAA has lack of usable evidence. The Yahoo articles and leaked wiretaps cannot be used to issue sanctions. All those can be used for are conversation topics with the coach at issue. Since the NCAA has interviewed the player, player's family, the alleged middleman and the coach, and yet the player was cleared and the coach was reinstated...put the pieces together. This investigation will end with some low level allegations (so the NCAA can save face), but it will not end in any major sanctions against LSU or Wade.

Yep. Being investigated was a given. Much to the dismay of those insightful posters who are reveling in this unsubstantiated report, the investigation will yield nothing of note.

Will Wade will be the coach here until he decides he does not want to be the coach here.

Lol already are. Never seen folks dislike a championship winning coach like this. Too bad for them that Will is gonna be here for a long time.

I really hope the dog and pony show has started so they can close it out and he can recruit without the threat of sanctions that are being used against him right now.

That’s a far cry from when you said in May:

He’s already met with the NCAA and everyone involved was satisfied with his answers.

That’s true. It’s also true that the NCAA has to investigate to make it look legit since there was such a media driven smear campaign. They don’t want to lose credibility in the media’s eyes

As I’ve said, you and the others rejoicing will be disappointed at the end of this “investigation “

Didn’t Will Wade let LSU restructure his contract to say that if the program is found to commit any level of violation he gets fired? We fricked.

What have been wrong about?

I've said all along they don't have any proof they can use against Wade. Their own rules don't allow "anonymous source" information. Since the wiretaps were not admitted at trial and only leaked to Yahoo by defenses counsel....they can't be used by the NCAA. I've said this almost 4 months now.

I've never said the NCAA wasn't going to investigate, I've said they have no usable evidence.

Please explain how I've wrong on this.

No, only level I and II. Which, by the way, level I and II violations would have been cause to fire Wade under his original contract. Again, this is window dressing.
