NC State is one of several schools under NCAA scrutiny as a result of the federal government's investigation of pay-for-play schemes in college basketball. Sources have told ESPN that the NCAA is actively investigating Arizona, Creighton, Kansas, Louisville, LSU and USC.

People wanted to listen to Richard Lipsey until they didn’t like what he said; he had already told us this.

personally hope that future is at LSU. I don't know where this investigation leads. I know he is very personable, young, and maybe yes he made a mistake. But there's a major problem in NCAA basketball with the shoe companies...While I'm not in a position to do anything about it, I hope we can keep Will Wade. He will be a winner wherever he is

Hopefully the shoe won't drop until after we make another run next season.

Yea but they can fire Wade with zero consequence & legal retribution should LSU receive penalty

What was obvious? Of course they would look around, but can they prove anything? Very doubtful.

If we get hit with major sanctions the coach should be fired for cause.

We've covered this to the point of exhaustion. Of course they are going to investigate LSU. But the NCAA has lack of usable evidence. The Yahoo articles and leaked wiretaps cannot be used to issue sanctions. All those can be used for are conversation topics with the coach at issue.

Since the NCAA has interviewed the player, player's family, the alleged middleman and the coach, and yet the player was cleared and the coach was reinstated...put the pieces together.

This investigation will end with some low level allegations (so the NCAA can save face), but it will not end in any major sanctions against LSU or Wade.

Shhh, let Lester think he's uncovered something novel. His mental health depends on it.

The Greek enjoys bad news about LSU he promotes it. Wade will not be fired from LSU.
