As expected, Wade's testimony is completely irrelevant to whether the Defendants committed the crimes they are accused of.

Their only hope was that Wade would be forced to testify regarding the conversations on that tape and that the tape would be admitted into evidence. Now all they have on him are snippets of a leaked transcript of those tapes.
Unless they pull some Lester Earl shite, Wade is 1000% in the clear.

Likely we are good. There are still two more hurdles, we have to hope the fbi doesnt give the ncaa anything (they shouldnt) and that the ncaa doesnt find anything if they come investigate. (They probably wont)

The same thing they're still going to do, investigate LSU for potential recruiting violations. The ruling may keep evidence of Wade's wrongdoing from the NCAA, but they can still conduct their own investigation.
This ain't over yet. The good news is that LSU has a good AD in place now to deal with any potential investigation/sanctions. And if it goes so far as to have to let Wade go, I trust Woodward to go out and get another good young up-and-comer.
