snippets of a leaked transcript of those tapes.

Snippets leaked by defense attorneys. They tried to muddy the waters and present part of their case in public, and WW was tried in the press as a result.

We suspended our coach for no reason and possibly cost us an elite 8

Tiger Ree & Lester Earl,

All trolling aside, I truly hope that you now can finally understand why Alleva became so hated and eventually got fired. You were wrong to support him, period.

Absolutely.

The whole point of even subpoenaing Wade and Miller and hopefully getting them on the stand was to muddy the waters and paint a picture of a seedy underworld which their client was unknowingly swept up in. Luckily the judge, like anyone with a baseline understanding of law and evidence, saw right through it. shite, the defense attorney essentially made the argument for Wade and Miller's testimony being irrelevant with his comments about blowing the roof off the world of college basketball, or however he put it.

The same thing they're still going to do, investigate LSU for potential recruiting violations. The ruling may keep evidence of Wade's wrongdoing from the NCAA, but they can still conduct their own investigation.

NCAA investigations can go on for decades FWIW. Most of the time it means practically nothing.

And LSU admin and some Rant posters like Lester Earl, xiv, Irish LSU Fan and smell the middle finger crawfish dude fell for the Dawkins defense teams scheme.

See UNC.

Sometimes they can be crippling.

See Mississippi.

All I'm saying is that it's premature to celebrate. The NCAA hasn't even started to investigate.

Another bonus about Woodward, however. Mark Emmert was at LSU from 1999-2004, Woodward worked under him from 2000-2004. When Emmert took the job at Washington, Woodward followed him. It's possible that there's a good relationship between Woodward and Emmert which could serve LSU well in the event of an investigation.

So I've read on this board. Not actually knowing either one, I'm not going to assume everything I read here is gospel.

I know both of Scott's kids and Mark's daughter personally. I grew up with the younger of Scott's children and my sister was good friends with the older son that married Mark's daughter...and Scott and my father are friends.

I don't have a bunch of AD sources like a lot of these TD blowhards, but I do have this and know it to be true.

Suspended because he wouldn’t talk but ultimately it led to an AD change so I guess we got off better in the end anyway
