What do you expect till the students return, your avg. fan at the game is either with small kids or has grandchildren.

Not a highly vocal group without somebody (student's) to get them cranked up......

But I really think we will start to see old school, loud, brutal fans in the PMAC pretty soon!

First thing that comes to mind is 2002 Arizona... Now that was a fantastic crowd

Yeah, just a few days before Christmas too, when school was out.

Yet Dick Vitale bitched a few times during the broadcast that there were still empty seats, even though Arizona was #1.

I would expect that anyone who is a fan of basketball (no matter their age) would go nuts over a play like the one I described. I came out of my chair and yelled "F@!K Yeah" here at home when I saw that. My kids and wife looked at me like I was nuts, but that play was great.

Even though there were empty seats the crowd was insanely loud. When Torris Bright tipped the inbound to seal the W the place exploded, it was awesome

So did I, at the PMAC.

I was just observing the reality of the situation.....

Yep, it was right at the end of the 1st half buzzer. Up to that point, LSU had taken Arizona's manhood from them. That dunk was just icing on the cake.

Stro's reaction on the last dunk is great.

That it was. This year's team is starting to have some fun like that.

I haven't seen much fun in awhile for the basketball team. Not much excitement from Johnson

I went to Alabama that year to see the game. LSU held nearly a forty point lead for most of the 2nd half. Stro and Smith were having their own dunk contest. Bama fans winced as LSU piled it on them. With about three minutes left, all the LSU fans went down to the empty seats chanting for Jack Warner to get in. He actually played a couple of minutes and threw up a couple of bombs.

Saturday JOB was smiling ear to ear. They are starting to get in a groove because their hard work is starting to pay off. 2 double digit wins this week. Keep the train rolling.

Loudest ive ever heard tye pmac. Was deafening in there. I remember so many of us in ss standing on the chairs just flailing tryig to find things to smack to make even more noise. It was a fricking jungle in there.
