Has Quannas White ever been involved in a HS program? I know he coached AAU last year, 12U I think.

I'm not sure Quannas would be hired for his coaching prowess. I'd wager it'd be to establish that New Orleans pipeline.

I have another more legit source saying White is credible, if not the front-runner.
Also, he founded the LA Dynasty and has been coaching the 17&U group, fwiw.

Fred Hoiberg got the head coaching job at Iowa State and had never coached anywhere.

And was incredible in year one. Hoiberg is a lot older than white without looking it up and had a lot of NBA experience and I believe front office experience.

One issue with White is he would have to fill the open on-court coaching position, because of his association with Morgan. He couldn't take the admin job, due to the new NCAA rule.

re: Hoiberg... Sure he has alot more experience than White, but we also aren't hiring White to be the head coach. He just needs to be a hired gun on the recruiting trail, and lock it up.
