Dugas is the one that can take this team from being really good to great. This team is special. Yes it's early but I think they have that make up to go all of the way to the championship

I totally agree. Dugas is the key to a special season. We also have to solidify our Sat and Sun starting rotation.

Is it still true that Skenes "wouldn't even crack TN's starting rotation," as TN fans on the SECRant were claiming pre-season?

I actually think the key is for one of Kling or Pearson to get hot. You know what you have in Dugas at this point. One of those catching their stride and manning an OF position gives you a 1-9 that can all hit for average and power and get on base consistently.

Beloso just arrived again as well, so there's yet another bat.

LSU stacked
Western Michigan, Southern, and Central Connecticut fricked
SEC probably not fricked
IOWA definitely not fricked

When this team is winning championships you’ll always have the Iowa game from February lol

Hang on to that as tightly as you can

Yep. The best baseball teams on the planet lose multiple games every year.

It’s absolutely bizarre to get hung up on a single baseball game in February

You would think after 4 decades of being a baseball school everyone would understand this….but here we are

Hurricane mike is that the 28 yr old sloppy drink at a high school party hitting on the girls, while sweating, smelling like shite, and talking very close to girls faces.

Probably not, but they were recruiting him to solidify their catcher spot and close games. They weren’t looking for another weekend starter.

The best line ever was Sam Seaborn on The West Wing when he said about MLB baseball, “Every teams going to win 54 games and every team is going to lose 54 games. It’s what you do with the other 54 that matters.”
