The problem with all these suggested changes in seating is that changes like this would entail people giving up long time seats.
frick em. They’ll either move or that’ll free their tickets up for someone else.

I think the Box looks completely different in 10 years.

Didn't bother them at all when they moved the student section in basketball.
All 3 things mentioned need to happen this year!

Young adults these days don’t have a filter and think it’s hilarious to act like attention-starved idiots and yell obscenities with children around.
Oh no! Not bad words at a college sporting event! How will your kids recover?

The OldBox was a lot louder. I attribute much of that to the configuration of the stadium.

They need to let the students heckle the right fielder again, and the marshalls there needs to get the giant dick out of their asses.
What is happening to prevent heckling?
When I was a student, the student section was in the worst seats in the whole park, down at the end of the right field foul line past the bullpen. You couldn’t see a damned thing really, and spent the whole game turned 90% to the left in your seat.

The current process for student tickets is horrible and discouraged students from going. I could never get a group of friends together to show up on time to get tickets together (they were hard tickets with seat numbers) … and then once those ran out students get standing room only tickets. Standing sucks, and having students dispersed all through the stadium makes it hard to sit with friends and tell how many are there at any given game You can’t get chicks to show up an hour or more before game time to get tickets together, and they aren’t going to stand all game. And if chicks aren’t going, guys will go where the chicks are. Relaxing GA seating just for them with cheap food and drinks (or like State/Ole Miss, allowing them to bring their own) would make it a place to be This sucks. LSU needs to not forget that they dont exist without students. Going to games should be a cheap option for students to utilize as a perk for being a student. Seems it would be first come first serve, show your ID and walk in to the students section. Once full, offer discounted entry into GA for those that dont get in.
Has LSU even thought about doing some sort of point system for student tickets where you get points for attending other sporting events and based on your class, freshman is lottery, So/Jr/Sr, you get a priority in football tickets based off of total points you have.
Thoughts? i say this b/c i was talking to a friend and their son is tat UVA and that is what they do there. And basketball might be harder to get than baseball.

I do think there are certain things that should not be said....anything racist or overly sexual or graphic should be policed by the section itself.
I miss the days where we’d figure out who the outfielders sister was and taunt them with that info
Everything in the box now is too corporate and soft. Almost feels like a shitty minor league game

The Rant wants fans who encourage opposing teams to take victory laps after beating LSU.
Or follow them to Omaha and wear their colors.

"frick 'em". Yea, Woodward will tell a couple of hundred long time season ticket holders to "move or frick off". Over / under of the number of calls the BOS would receive the next day after that call goes out. The Rant is the Rant is the Rant, but get real. When a regional comes around & seats behind home plate have to be given up to visiting teams per the NCAA, phones in the A.D.'s office have been known to melt.

What percentage of seats in RF or LF are season tickets?
Could they be combined to one side and students on other?

And I might add…to the extent that TAF is involved in baseball ticket assignment, TAF is NOT a student focused organization.
