LSU Baseball Ops Director Tyler Nordgren taking job at Cal Baptist

He's moving on to a full time coaching position at relatively new D1 school Cal Baptist. They were a D2 power for a while and have had an okay transition to D1. I think they're in the WAC.

Nordgren came to LSU with Jay Johnson, having worked with him at Arizona.

If you’ve visited any gift shop in a national park you’ve probably seen the artwork of Tyler Nordgren. Not this guy, obviously…

Good for him. Congrats on the promotion.

Jay has done well with every hire so far. I trust him.

Thank you for your service Mr. Nordgren and best of luck in the future. Can't fault a career move that is basically taking him back home where he grew up, knows the recruiting area, and played college BB. He's still young, 32 yrs old as he can build a resume' if he wants to coach at a bigger school

He's on TV in the dugout a good bit. Does a lot of behind the scenes planning and logistics, especially for road trips. I replaced Nate Fury.
