It's bullshite. They are holding us to a completely different standard than these other teams. Dallas Baptist and St. Johns played nobodies all year compared to us and got in.

Do not negate the fact that if you invite a good OOC to play at home it cannot help you, but only hurt you.

Name so he can forever be remembered? All in all, even had we deservedly gotten in, I'm not so sure about the run we might have made. Seems the selection committee might have looked at the many sec 1 run losses, but apparently that mattered not.
If we hold onto that lead in game 2 vs Miss State, the discussion is probably academic.

we have suites to fill, we will never go on the road OC, and I have no problem with that, tell the team to be better than 6th in the SEC to make a spot in the NCAA

the committee had solid reasoning why we didn't get in ... i have always felt like LSU needs to play one quality non-conference series at home and one quality series on the road every year ... we were 7-17 against the decent teams in the SEC .. unfortunately, two matty ott blow ups -- vs. florida and vs. mississippi state -- in the end kept us out basically ..
