Thanks for pulling some strings for us, Mark Emmert.

I had resigned myself that we were not getting in when we didn't make Hoover...so I am oddly calm at the moment. Not surprised at all.

Maybe they should think about scheduling better teams non-conference. I got railed earlier this year for suggesting that, but now it comes as reason that we didn't get in. We didn't play anyone on the road.

This is totally unacceptable. LSU shouldn't be sitting on pins and needles HOPING to get in. I'm sorry, but 09 championship or not...changes should be made and made now. CPM should be given an ultimatum...get all new assistants that can help these players improve or find another place to coach. Simple as that!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but that has NOTHING to do with THIS year. WE didn't do what we needed to do to get in, period, all on us, nobody else.

Relax - RPI - sweep of Cal State - and overall record will get them in. Throw in the fact they are a storied program and highly attractive due to travel etc.. You guys should take meds or something to relax.

We swept a hosting team OOC.

St. Johns and Dallas Baptist played a bunch of nobodies and got in.

Fact is we were subpar in our conference. We had a horrendous in conference record, it happens.

And played a bunch of shitty teams at home non-conference. UGA got rewarded for going on the road, even if they lost games early.

Dear LSU. Please follow the direction of Boise State(Football) and Dallas Baptist(Baseball). Schedule the easiest teams possible, win big, look good, and get into the post season. Hell..play them on the road so it looks even better.

It all comes down to that one game Georgia won over the weekend, we take their spot had they lost it.

Agreed, this is an incomprehensible snub - worthy of much discussion. RPI should fricking count on bubble teams - the justification to put in Georgia amongst others is absolutely amazing.

Clearly, the Auburn fiasco has shown us that the sharpest tools are not in the shed in Indiana.

I was at peace with LSU not making it, but Georgia making it over LSU is a bunch of bullshite.
