LSU Baseball monetizing...batting practice?

LSU ticket costs have increased...a lot. You cant even go to a weekend regular season baseball game without paying as much as going to an upper tier MLB game, NOW they want to charge you $50 to watch batting practice 3 hours before the game.
What is the boards thoughts on this?

If you’ve got $50 and want to watch BP, it’s great. I doubt this is going to be popular thing but it’s an easy way to get some money from early admission and concessions since they take BP anyway.

If this is the same setup as it was in Arlington against DBU, this isn't just charging extra to go to game early to watch BP. You get to go on the field with the team, mingle with the players/coaches, etc. Especially great for kids to get players' autographs and interact with them.

It's a way to give them money and get something back instead of just giving them money. Would you bitch about donating 50$ ? This is donating with something in return.

Nah, the BP pass is for a fan to go onto the field behind the batting cage.
And the email I received about the BP pass said it's $20/person.
