Skip Bertman Lsu coach 18 seasons 5 nattys...retired 1 year after his last in 2000..Paul Mainieri lsu coach 15 years after 2021 season and only 1 natty in 2009..still underachieving as the Head Coach..but for how much longer Scott Woodward....

No coach college baseball is going to win 5 nattys anymore. Not saying Paul is the best, but the bar is WAY too high for many of y’all.

1.4 mill a year for middle pack SEC team the past 3 seasons un- acceptable ....15 seasons age 64..time to move on..

Do some homework for me. Go pull up other teams in the SEC. Find out SEC titles, regionals made, regionals hosted, super regionals made, national seeds, CWS appearances, CWS titles, in the last 15 years. Then come back and tell us where LSU ranks compared to their SEC counterparts.

Wrong point...its whether Woodward can find THE coach for around 1.5 mill a year..I think he can..

Wrong point? You said LSU was a middle of the pack SEC team. I challenged you to back that up, and your response is to say your point was something that you didn't come close to saying originally?

The year after 2017 CWS, we lose two games at Oregon State by a total of 26-1 in the regional..we have lost 3 of the last 4 super regionals and last time I checked was ranked 8th nationally among SEC teams when the 2020 season ended..ditto for 2019..we are a middle of the pack SEC team..Bertman left 19 years ago...its time to move on...

This would take a little to much time to do but can you look me in the eye and honestly say that Vandy, Florida, MSU, Arkansas, and to some extent Ole Miss have not been better than LSU on average over the last 5-10 years? Because I can't.

Vandy and Florida, yes. But when you pull up the numbers, it's not by far.
MSU and Arky, no, not really. They have had some success, but not at the consistent rate LSU has.

That just proves how clueless you are. LSU hasn't had a lot of success compared to LSU of the Skip days. Thats pretty much it, and if anybody took the time to actually look it up, you would possibly stop spewing ignorance.
I'm not saying that Mainieri is doing an amazing job. I'm not saying he doesn't have faults. frick, I'm not even saying the time isn't nearing for him to move on. All I'm saying is that some of the arguments being used are flat out wrong.

Ok..2018 FINAL baseball coaches poll..LSU finished OUTSIDE the top 25 with 9 SEC teams ranked ahead..too many to list..2019 FINAL baseball coaches poll..lsu finished #16 and 6 SEC teams ranked ahead...2020 last coaches poll..LSU ranked #19 nationally with 7 SEC teams ranked higher.OH..MY Mental health is fine..thank you and good night..

So some polls are the end all be all? Why not compare the other info I gathered, since that's what coaches are actually graded on. The SEC is good in baseball. There are going to be highly ranked teams. You aren't telling anybody anything.

You cant count 2020 towards anything, season barely got started. 2017 was stellar, 2018 was a down year, and 2019 was decent. Thats where we are. He isnt gonna get fired without lsu missing the tourney in 2021
I have plenty of faults with Mainieri, especially in recent years, but some of yall create faults because your lack of knowledge of the league.
Ole miss, arkansas, miss st havent been better than LSU over the last decade. Vandy and florida i would agree have...although im pretty sure florida pays players under the table and vandy of course has their fluffy financial aid prop up
