now I know you are just argueing aimlessly. Kilen is projected to be a R1 pick in the next draft, and Braswell will be an end of the draft guy

because in 3-4 years he could be better. MLB draft is about projection.

Luke Holeman was a better pitcher last year than Cijntje. he got drafted after him. same with jump.

In this instance, I don't care about the projectability of a player at the next level or how his tools will translate to professional baseball. I'm talking about the production at the college level, something Kilen has less of than Michael Braswell - both offensively and defensively.

The thing is, you don't know how the MLB draft works, so you don't know that. Thatcher Hurd was drafted in the third round. Paxton Kling will be drafted higher next year than Brayden Jobert was drafted last year. Brady Neal will get drafted next year relatively high barring failed physicals whereas Travinski, Cade Beloso, and Milazzo didn't get drafted. Their MLB draft status does not matter in the context of their college production. It is an objective fact that Michael Braswell out performed Gavin Kilen against better competition.

Team USA. They have similar production in the Cape. You have yet to win a single talking point in any of this arguments outside of saying Gavin Grahovic is better than Steven Milam, which I don't think anybody disputed.

he also ignores that Dickinson is also projected to be a first rounder.

So why did it “cut it” for Kilen? He’s a first round pick, right? He’s gotta be better than Braswell, right?

He ignores that because he’s shifted the argument from “LSU has no experience” to “well Gavin kilen is projected to be a first round pick and michael braswell is not” which has no relevance in this discussion

Christian Moore had either the same or more errors than Braswell. Unfortunately that’s just not going to cut it. Someone let the angels know.

Braswell had 13 errors, 0.940 fielgding % and 0.311 batting avg

Curly had 15 errors, 0.935 fielding % and 0.285 batting avg

Braswell gets a bad rap

IKR. I really don't think this guy is serious, but if he is then wow.

Stats prove him wrong, so he goes by projections only when it's convenient for him.

Kilen was not special in the ACC. Period.

I care more about what players do in college than future projections.

Beloso didn't even play pro ball and look how incredible he was for us.

I’ve seen 1-3R

We will see if Jockey Jay can get him (and others) to hit this year. He couldn’t this past season

Uh, they play different positions first of all. Secondly, Moore played more games since they went all the way - yet still had less Es lol

And most importantly, Moore was the best player in the country arguably and a Top 10 pick. So, yeah, I’ll take some errors when you can hit 34 bombs with a .375 avg. Braswell couldn’t do that on steroids in the special Olympics. Stop comparing the two

He moves the goalposts constantly and never argues in good faith. It's best to just never respond to his stupidity.

Also, you’re comparing a second baseman to a Shortstop defensively. Anyone who has played baseball will tell you Shortstop is a harder position. Comparing Braswell to Curley is apples to apples and Braswell had a higher fielding % and 2 less errors.
