That is a name I COMPLETELY forgot about. Good for him though.

I was about to say the same thing. Caught me off guard

Kramer is in the Cardinals 60 man pool right now I think.

Yeah, Mascona mentioned on his show yesterday that they didnt remember smith, and without looking back at the roster and his bio, i dont remember him either

If I'm not mistaken he had an era of about 9 here and struggled with location. He was highly recruited and even highly looked at by teams after his struggles. Good to see things got back on track for him.

He was a JUCO transfer from Texas. All I remember was that he was full of potential and got destroyed against Lamar (gave up like 6-8 runs)

Yeah I think he started the year as the mid week guy and got shelled, then missed like 60% of the year with an injury. Iirc he came back at the end of the season and was pretty much lsu’s Third guy behind Lange and poche. I can’t remember if it was regular season or post season but he had a nice game vs Florida where LSU upset them.

Any idea what became of Kurt McCune? I thought he would have been a solid bullpen/relief pitcher for an MLB club.

I wasn't a member of this website during his time with lsu ,but what was the rants opinion of parker bugg? Did he ever get drafted? I remember the name and his size more then anything but I just didnt follow the team that hard back then. Was he a pretty good reliever or closer ,whatever he was?

Generally favorable opinion. He was drafted by and is still in the Marlins system. He was not in the 60 man player pool this summer so he was coaching with a travel ball org in the San Diego area where he's from. He still has a chance to make the majors. He's been pretty good so far in his minor league career.
