Yeah all those are good for the lock screen, esp the black one or white pin stripes. This is very home screen friendly for icons and still badass:

aaronb has admitted to knowing some photoshop. I use the cheap crap called Gimp and I'm just a novice with it.

I used gimp to make my avi's background transparent, and I had to google step by step instructions on that. I should probably learn how to use it more.
