Don't get me wrong. I'm excited about the lower seamed balls but after this year I think we can expect a drop off in pitching duels. I'll enjoy watching it this year.

The offense won't go up that much with the new balls. You'll hardly notice the change game to game. The overall season numbers will go up but you are talking about an average over the season being a very small change. It's not like the average of 5 runs/game will jump to 8.
